With This Needle

This is a place to blog about my stitching, books I'm reading, my life and anything else that catches my interest.

Thursday, March 9

I'm looking forward to spending an evening in front of the television with my stitching tonight. I'm going to start another block on the Bent Creek Winter Snapperland series. I don't have a lot of it done, but I've enjoyed every second that I've worked on it. I need to finish BC's Snowflakes Zipper too. I just have some of the snowman and a few of the snowflakes left to stitch, so I should finish that up before starting another block. I guess I'll see what I'm in the mood to stitch tonight.

2006 Finishes

January Finishes:

Joyful Santa (Homespun Elegance)
Candy Cane Seeds (San Man Originals)
Hope Blessings Flip-It (Lizzie Kate)
A Victorian Christmas Stocking (Earth Threads)
Happy New Year! (Lizzie Kate)
Friends Blessings Flip-It (Lizzie Kate)

February Finishes:

Love Blessings Flip-It (Lizzie Kate)
Sleigh Ride (Bent Creek)

I'm going to try to post my finishes monthly from now on. I had a great January of stitching, more like what I'm use too! I have a goal of 12 ornaments for the year, and so far, I've stitched 6!!! I'm half way there, and it's only the beginning of March. I shouldn't have any problems at all reaching my yearly goal.

Now, to get stitching so I have some finishes to post at the end of March!!!

Wednesday, March 8

It's been forever since I've blogged! The last few months have been extremely busy. We just got home from a long Florida vacation. We had a terrific time, but it's still nice to sleep in our own bed again.

I didn't get much stitching done while we were gone. I started Bent Creek's Snowflakes Zipper during the drive, and it's almost finished. If I can find a couple more few hours, it will be my first finish for March.
